The idea of holding International Symposium of Young Scientists developed in 2016 at the Research and Development Department of the Faculty of Humanities, Ivane Javakhisvhili Tbilisi State University.
On November 20-23, 2017, Tbilisi State University hosted I International Symposium in the Humanities (chairperson- Nino Popiashvili, Senior Specialist of the Research and Development Department of the Faculty of Humanities, Doctor of Philology) organized by the Faculty of Humanities. About 150 doctors and young scientists from different higher education institutions of Georgia participated in the Symposium, as well as international visitors from around the world including Cambridge, Paris, Prague, Lisbon, Tartu, Tehran and other research institutes. I International Symposium of Young Scholars was dedicated to the history of research and literary relations, timely issues and modern challenges.
On November 14-17, 2018, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted the young researchers interested in studying Humanities for the second time. II International Symposium of Young Scholars was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the first Georgian University (chairperson - Tea Kamushadze, Senior Specialist at the Learning Process Management at TSU, Faculty of Humanities, Doctor of Anthropology). Within the scope of the Symposium, various workshops and seminars were organized, including a round table and discussion forums.
Like the first Symposium, the second one was marked by a large number of participants; In particular, the TSU PhD students, as well as young scientists from other universities of the capital (Ilia State University, Caucasus University, Georgian University, etc.) and from the regions, as well as from abroad (participants from German, Estonian, Italian and other universities) presented at the Symposium.
TSU Faculty of Humanities will traditionally host the III International Symposium of Young Scholars, which will be held on 27-30 November. The pleasant news is that this year symposium will be held with the financial support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (Research Supervisor - Nana Gaprindashvili, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Symposium Coordinator - Ivane Mchedeladze, the specialist of Ukraine Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Doctor of Philology). This year's main theme is the hundred-year-long history of Oriental teaching and research in Georgia and modern trends in the field across the world.
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Faculty of Humanities invites you to participate in the IV International Symposium of Young Scholars. The idea of the symposium belongs to the scientific supervisor of our symposium — Assoc. Prof. Ekaterine Navrozashvili, who at the same time is the head of the office of the Scientific research and development at TSU Faculty of Humanities.
The Symposium is open to young researchers working in the Humanities and related fields.
The aims of the Symposium are:
a) Scientific argumentation of the importance of the Humanities in both theoretical and practical contexts and highlighting the role of young scientists in this field;
b) Popularization and internationalization of the Kartvelological fields in the Humanities;
c) Promoting and encouraging interdisciplinary research in the Humanities;
d) Deepening and supporting communication between scientists of different generations;
e) Supporting young researchers in the Humanities to establish links with local and foreign scholars and share scientific achievements.
The main focus of the Fourth International Symposium for Young Scholars is the long history of Archaeology at TSU and modern trends in the development of the field worldwide. Archeology is one of the most important fields at TSU. Even more, the increasing interest from overseas each year enables us to undertake international projects. With the active scientific engagement of TSU professors and students, modern methods in archeology are becoming more and more developed. The discoveries made by TSU using modern research and modern technologies have become very important for the international scientific community. Therefore, the specific purpose of this year's Symposium is to research and present topical issues of archeology and share modern methods in light of the latest international experience in the field.
The Symposium will include sectoral and thematic, interdisciplinary sections, round table, and discussion forums, moreover, public lectures of plenary speakers will take place in different formal and informal formats.
The Symposium is open to young scholars with a master's or doctorate degree.

Time Limit: Presentation- 20 minutes; Discussions - 10 minutes;
Theses will be submitted to the Symposium Review Committee for the review. The Georgian expert base was set up for each of the Humanities sub-departments by the Executive Committee.

Deadline for submitting a full paper - January 30, 2022;
Deadline for payment of the registration fee - March 15, 2022 (upon the desire to publish the paper in the proceedings);
Deadline for making changes in the program - April 20, 2022;
Abstract volume: 400-500 words;
